WEDDING FUN!

It's a great feeling to see your friends SO happy and SO in love! We had 2 exciting weekends of weddings and we had a blast! First we traveled to Dallas to see Caleb's friend, Lucas marry his bride Elise! It was a gorgeous wedding, and we had a blast! Elise and Lucas looked GREAT, and even the pastor couldn't get over what a good looking couple they were! Their wedding had the most perfect touches of Texas Tech throughout it! We heard the fight song and they walked back down the aisle to the Matador song! So fun and creative! The food was so good and we were able to catch up with the Grimes' too! It was my first night to be away from Graham, and I think I did pretty darn good:) We were busy having fun and the night flew by. It wasn't until the following morning we woke up and couldn't WAIT to get home and see Graham! I forgot my camera for the wedding ... but thanks for facebook I snagged a few pictures to post! CONGRATS to the Elams we couldn't be happier for you guys!!!

MR. AND MRS. ELAM!!

The following weekend we traveled to New Orleans for Caroline and Ethans wedding! Caroline and I have been best friends since 4th grade ... so you can imagine how EXCITING it was to see her get married! Ethan is the perfect man for my sweet friend, and we are so happy for them! The wedding was perfect down to every single detail. It was small making it so intimate. Each of us sitting in the pews could glance up and get the perfect picture of their faces, expressions, emotions, and happiness! This is the 2nd road trip with Graham bear, and he proved himself to be a GREAT traveler:) And I proved myself to be an EXTREME overpacker;) I had enough crap to take care of Graham and any other child we passed along the way in New Orleans!! We arrived early Saturday morning and unpacked ... then headed out to walk the streets of New Orleans! Graham was pretty overwelmed with the people and noise that he slept most of the time. ;) We headed back to get ready for the wedding and spent Saturday celebrating our friends! The ceremony was perfect and the reception was beautiful and DELICIOUS! After the wedding Mom stayed with Graham while myself, Dad, and Caleb headed to the casino! Sunday morning started EARLY as Graham was still transitioning from the time change. So after breakfast we headed out again to walk the streets around us, shopped, ate AGAIN, then headed back to relax in the lobby with everyone! We packed up, ate (again) a delicious lunch with Caleb then headed home late afternoon! We left Caleb is New Orleans so he could go to work Monday! It was kinda odd being the one to make the drive away from Caleb ... as he is usually the one that has to drive the long distance alone to work:( He was so worried about us driving home, because he is always our driver. He prefers to drive and I sure do prefer to ride;) My parents actually did most of the driving though, so I really cannot complain! Anyway ... it was an awesome 2 weekends of wedding and we felt so special to be at both of them! I say it often but we are blessed with the most perfect family and friends!
